Dakota (Sharptail’s Dangerous Dakota) has had a very busy year so far in 08.
It started off in PA with Brian & Helen Riggle of Wild Mtn. Brittanys for field training and to run some field trials as well.
Dakota took to running trials and did very well with all his spring 08 placements listed below.
- Upper New York Brittany Club,AKC Licensed Field Trial, Open Derby - First Place
- Weimaraner Club of the Washington D.C. area,Licensed Field Trial, Open Puppy - Fourth Place
- Long Island Weimaraner Club, Assunpink W.M.A. Clarksburg N.J. Licensed Field Trial, Open Derby - First Place
- Garden State Weimaraner Club, Assunpink W.M.A. Clarksburg N.J. Open Puppy - First Place
- Vizsla Club of Greater Cleveland, Barkeyville PA Licensed Walking Field Trial Open Puppy - Third Place
- Anthracite Brittany Club, Buck Mountain PA, Field Trial, Open Puppy - First Place
After the Anthracite trial Dakota went back home to Alberta and was immediately in the show ring.
He came away with two BOB wins and now has points towards his CKC CH as well !!
We wish to congratulate Dakota’s owners Cam and Eileen McGregor and their son Addison and to also thank Brian and Helen Riggle for all there hard work with Dakota. I bet they are happy to have him home and to be out chasing birds with him again this fall.
Maverick takes Best of Winners
Maverick (Knine’s Ghost Rider FDJ) takes Best of Winners at the Brittany Spaniel Club of Ontario’s summer specialty.
Maverick beat 14 class dogs for the win and came away with 5 points for the show!!!
Maverick has only been in one other show as a puppy and managed two points there as well. We now have 7 points and are not to far from his Canadian CH, only 3 more points required!!
Maverick was handled by Keri Chard-Savage who is a professional groomer and owns and raises Gordon Setters. Keri also showed my female Dixie to her show Championship and Maverick to his first two points!!
Maverick will be heading back out to train for and run in field trials in a few more weeks but we hope to finish off his CH over the winter break.

Dixie's Puppies Are Here!

Dixie was a busy girl into the wee hours of the morning. She is shown here with her litter consisting of 2 boys and 5 girls!

He has been in the U.S. for three weeks and has ran two trials thus far.
